By ordering any service from KARTOGRAM, you (hereafter referred to as 'Client') agree to abide by the following terms of service:

1. copyright and permission
- It is the sole responsibility of the CLIENT to obtain all necessary permissions and authorizations with regard to the use of all copy, graphic images, company logos, trademarks and or any other supplied material. Every contracted work will be seen as a guarantee that all such permissions have been obtained.

2. ownership
- All sites, graphics, and other files created by KARTOGRAM for the CLIENT are the sole property of KARTOGRAM until CLIENT'S balance is paid in full, at which time said sites, graphics, and other files are the sole property and responsibility of the CLIENT.

3. your information
- We're always aiming to improve our services for its customers and the more we know about you, the better we can serve you. The personal information that you provide to us through KARTOGRAM enables us to personalize and improve your experience with our company and services for you. Your personal information is collected in a variety of ways such as completing web contact form or submitting a quote request.
- We guarantee that your information will be kept confidential and not provided to a third party outside of KARTOGRAM Services.

4. access & rights
- KARTOGRAM art must be granted access to the server directory where the design is to be placed. By signing this agreement, it is also granting KARTOGRAM full "on demand" access to the installed files. CLIENT further agrees that KARTOGRAM shall have the right to remove "our" design from public view for failure to adhere to the terms of this agreement. These could include violating licensing agreement or failure to pay fees duly assessed.

5. exemption
- KARTOGRAM cannot and will not be held responsible for modifications, alterations, or deletions made by any third party. CLIENT acknowledges and agrees that KARTOGAM has no control over and will not be liable for the unlawful acts of others who access CLIENT'S installed and publicly posted materials.

6. right of refusal
- KARTOGRAM reserves the right to refuse service for any content deemed inappropriate, illegal or immoral. KARTOGRAM may cancel this agreement for failure of CLIENT to abide by these terms.

7. 'submitted for your approval'
- KARTOGRAM will post all site work done to our server for review by CLIENT. This will allow the CLIENT an opportunity to review the appearance and content of scripted material. All custom programming and custom graphics including logos, animations and flash programming provided for CLIENT per the original contract will be considered as part of the finished product even if the CLIENT decides not to use.
- If the CLIENT request changes outside the limits of original contract, CLIENT agrees to pay KARTOGRAM web design fees on a per hour basis. Unless KARTOGRAM is notified via email within ten (10) days of posting review, KARTOGRAM will consider the material deemed acceptable by the CLIENT. Payment of the fee balance will then become due.

8. posting to server
- Upon payment of balance, KARTOGRAM will post (install) pages to CLIENT'S server (site location). This may take several days depending on the setup times and server side changes that need to be made.

9. service interuptions
- CLIENT acknowledges and agrees that KARTOGRAM cannot guarantee constant service because of the variables involved. Circumstances beyond our control include but are not limited to service interruptions caused by " acts of god ", telecommunications system failures and server problems.

10. liability
- KARTOGRAM will not be held responsible for any damages arising from the use, misuse, or implementation of any sites, graphics, or other files created for the CLIENT.

11. acceptance of terms
- Placing an order or contracting KARTOGRAM for web design or graphic design will be regarded as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

12. 'designer' branding
- CLIENT agrees that a link will appear at the bottom of each page in the CLIENT'S site. Link will be in the form of a very small graphic and/or text link.

13. fees
- Fees due are payable by credit cards and via Pay Pal. The initial payment of 50% being due upon signing this agreement. The balance will become due upon completion of the contracted work in accordance with the CLIENT'S original written specifications. Final payment must be received before the site will be "live". All overdue accounts will be assessed a 10% monthly late fee. All payments must be in UK funds.
- PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE THE SITE GOES LIVE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Yes, we can register a domain for you and host your site on our server. All our clients get first 3 months of hosting for FREE, and Â£7/month afterwards.

Will I get an email with my website?

Yes, you can get more than one email address to communicate with your visitors.

How does the design process go?

1. Once you choose us to work on your project, we will send you our questionnaire and our custom proposal to confirm all the details.
2. After that, we start working on the layout.
3. When the layout is done, we send it to you for your approval. If you are not happy with the design, we will do 3 revisions for free, and after that all the additional revision works will be charged on the basis of Â£20/hour.
4. When the layout is approved, we code the site, perform cross-browser testing, SEO-optimize it and make sure everything works properly. While the site is in the development stage, we will have the site at our server, where only you and us can see it, revise it and work on it. The site will go live when it's 100% completed.
5. After the site is coded and functional, we show you the results to get your approval
6. When we get your final approval, the website will be ready to go live, we can install it for you and will provide from 2 weeks to 3 months of free support.

How does the order process go?

1. Once a client orders one of our services/packages, we will get back to him/her by email to confirm the final price.
2. After that, the client pays 50% of the final price, and then the design process begins.
3. When the client is satisfied with the result, the site will be ready to go live.
4. Once the site is ready to go live, the client has to deposit the rest of the payment to us.
5. The site goes live and the client gets support for the number of days agreed.

What if I don't like the design?

Do I have to keep my website maintained or hosted by Kartogram forever or can I move to another supplier?

After we submit the website to you, you become the owner of all the site's files and are free to choose any supplier you wish.

In what formats should I provide images and text for my website?

You can provide the text files in any type of format, as long as the text is not an image and is able of being copied. As for the images - we would prefer them to be in the best quality possible. Please do not provide images inside a Word document.

Do I have to provide images for my website or will you do that for me?

If you have particular images you need to be used, we would like you to provide those. If you have an online shop, we will need the images of your product in the beginning or in the first half of the project. In case you want us to find the images for your site - we can do that too. We use professional stock images' sites, where we purchase the images for your site in the best quality.

I like a certain design i saw online, can you copy this design for my site?

We do not copy or reproduce web designs created by others, since this is against the copyright law.
